GURUGRAM: Residents of DLF 3, Sushant Lok 1 and Sector 14 have complained about shortage of water over the past few days.
Residents said they were not getting adequate supply of water, and claimed that the water pressure was also very low. Owing to these issues, they have started to rely on water tankers.
“For the past few days, the water supply has been sputtering for no apparent reason.

We are not getting the normal supply. Either the supply is down or the water pressure is too low,” said Abhishek, a resident of Sushant Lok 1.
Residents further said that they were only getting water at times in a day.
“Water isn’t being supplied round the clock. We are only supposed to get water at regular intervals, and not even that is in fits and starts,” said Deepti Arora, another resident of Sushant Lok 1.
“We have been suffering from water shortage in the mornings when we need it the most,” she added.
In DLF 3, not only is the water supply a problem but also the defunct infrastructure. “One house in a lane will be getting adequate water supply while another in the same lane will suffer from water shortage. This problem has been going on and we want the administration to fix it,” said Reshi, a resident of U Block.
In Sector 14, residents complained that the supplied water had a foul smell. “It seems that the water has got mixed with sewage,” said Jasvinder Singh, a resident.
When contacted, MCG officials, however, said that they had not received any complaints in this regard but would still look into the matter.
